Biography

Koksal ERENTURK received his B.S. degree (with honors) from Yildiz Technical University, Istanbul, Turkey, in 1994. He also obtained his M.S. degree from Istanbul University, Istanbul, Turkey, in 1997, and Ph.D. degree from Karadeniz Technical University, Trabzon, Turkey, in 2002, all in electrical engineering. His work has focused on the smart grid, renewable energy systems, and development and application of control theory to a variety of mechatronic systems, with a focus on observation and estimation based control. Much of his recent work has focused on the analysis and control of dynamical systems that arise in engineering applications.
